Bought a 69 bee last year and it looks like I am bit by this car bug.the bee runs good but is not a race car.now as I go to the track and watch all the guys having a good time with cars that aren't classics but run well i am thinking about picking up something that I can run without breaking the bank.i think I have found a car,but sitting here trying to talk myself into it.one minute I'm thinking I'm crazy and the next I'm picturing myself running something quick down the track.how much is too much?

I'm from the same camp, going on 12:eek: I'm not going to be a good influence. I say go for it. What are you looking at? I have a friend in Las Vagas who has a 66 he's been trying to sell. You should look into it.

I suppose it depends on their current state. I have found that more than one major project car is too many. I am pretty much out of indoor space and as cars get done I'll really be in a pickle as to where to put them. Industrial space is at or over $1.00 / sq ft in my area (assuming you can find any) and cheaper spaces are in areas where you might not want to be at night much less keep your cars there. If someone would buy that 66 hemi Charger it would sure help me out!!

too many is when people let them rot into the ground and refuse to sell them to someone who will bring them back to life

for me its when the driveways full..which i am now lol..

Only !! If I had inside climate controlled storage/warehouse space... I would like one of each of every year of any 2-doors & convertibles, RR & GTX 68-72, Sport Fury up-to 71, Sport Satellite 68-70, Sebring Plus 71-72, R/T, Super Bee, Coronet 64-70, Charger R/T 68-71, Superbird, Daytona, Barracuda 67-74, Challenger, Demon, Duster 70-72, Dart GT & GTS 67-70 & many others, NO K-Cars... I like many 4x4's, wagons & C-bodies too, but it will never happen...LOL.... Hell, I would need a staff, just to help me maintain, start & drive them all regularly.... Right now one is more than enough !!

Personally, if i had the room, I wouldn't want more than 4 or 5 cars. Old cars always need something to be done & after a while it just becomes too many headaches.

Two is my number, My GTX has been a permanent fixture and many others have come and gone but always two....well sometimes three old cars
