Several questions here. I beg your patience.

My car is all original except for headers, aluminum intake, Holley carb, Sears alternator, plugs and wires.
I figured if I could find a somewhat correct intake, carb and exhaust manifolds that would be a good thing.
A Holley and Edelbrock were on the car.

I bought this AVS and the cast intake.
Did I get it wrong?
Both holes on the cast iron intake’s choke well weren’t drilled so I figure that is some type of option and the AVS doesn’t use the choke well?
The AVS carb is “B9” (Feb. 69) but is it the right carb for my car?
It’s a 4 speed car but the “SA” seems to be debatable.
See here

And here

My build sheet says “77” under carb and “45” under choke.
My vehicle order number starts with “603” which I think is June 69 for a 69 Road Runner.

Why am I doing the multiple carbs you ask.
Since I have another 69 383, my long term plan is to pull the numbers matching engine and have the spare engine rebuilt for driving and save the numbers matching engine. I'll run the Edelbrock and Holley.
The cast iron intake and AVS are just to complete the original engine as much as possible.
I have plenty of correct bolts. But my spare 69 engine came with a 2 barrel and it had studs and bolts.
I’m guessing that’s not correct for a 4 barrel.

Again, I’ll run the Holley on the Edelbrock with my spare engine.
And I'll save the cast iron manifold and AVS with my matching engine just because they are “correct”, I hope.

And what is this spacer thing that came with the cast manifold?

I’m sure it is an aftermarket item. It would be good because the Edelbrock doesn’t have the cross piece in the intake to prevent loose screws from going into it.
The space will prevent that.
See the picture of the bottom of the Holley next to the intake and spacer for what I mean.

I cleaned this Holley up with “soda blasting”. It worked great. I won’t use cleaners again.
The 3310-1 Holley came with the car. It figures I would get some kind of odd Holley. It's not a dash 2 or higher.
It was a nightmare getting the kit without paying 100 dollars for a kit that is for every Holley ever built with a gazillion parts in it.. ( 37-1539 )
Or kits 37-1544 or 37-1446 which no one had on the self to look at to see if it came with 2 power valves.

37-485 was 40 dollars and had the two power valves in it.

It was sitting on the self at Advance but no one gave that as a kit number for Holley 3310-1..

Looks like the chokewell screws have been stripped out.Your carb looks one for manual trans.(the dashpot at rt. rear was never on an automatic). Hope this helps a little.Jeff

68 and 69 only used one bolt,a locating tab went in the unthreaded hole.

3310 Holley odd ? That's one of the most popular carbs ever. You also have dual metering blocks, not the plate, so you can jet accordingly.

Yes, that makes sense.
As the pictures shows, one hole has no bevel and no threads.
What is bothering me is that I can't see how a rod can come up from thechoke well area and attach to the carb linkage in the picture of the carbsitting on the manifold.
Maybe I need to get one like in your picture and try it.
I'll try and find a part number.
Help?

That's what I figured when I went down that path. How hard could it be to get parts? But being a tight wad, I didn't want to spend 109 dollars for that 37-1539 kit with a lot of parts I did not need.
Jegs is the only place I could find that seemed to have a real picture of what actually came in the kits. And 1539 was a gazillion pieces.
And I couldn't find out if 37-1544 or 37-1546 would work since I don't have any special knowledge of Holleys and didn't know if all 4150 series (3310) side block gaskets were all the same. It appears they are.
That is what the nightmare was.
And I wasn't sure how common the 3310 series 1 carb was. Seems like most parts list were for series 2 and higher.

The early 3310 used both metering blocks, later production used secondary metering plate,I have both !
