I came across this oil the other day and I normally avoid the "Champion" brand because it seems like cheap, lower quality oil (?). I typically use royal purple etc.
BUT this oil caught my attention because it says "Classic & Muscle car Synthetic Blend Perf. Oil" and says its "purpose built for hot rods, street rods, muscle cars etc."
The REAL interesting thing is on the back label, it says;
"Contains high levels of premium zinc and phosphorus (ZDDP)"
I'm wondering if anyone here has used it? Good? Bad?
thanks

(sorry bout the turned pics, they were fine when I uploaded them but they're sideways in the post(???))

Thanks for the links, interesting reading in the spec sheet.
Id agree that there's a connection between champion (plugs and Wagner).
looking thru the spec sheet on this oil is really interesting, particularly the parts per millions;
Typical SN, GF4/SM, GF5 oils have;
800-900ppm of zinc (+/-)
700-850ppm of phosphorus (+/-)

Specific ZDDP oils have;
1450ppm of zinc (+/-)
1300ppm of phosphorus(+/-)
(Almost (not quite) double the typical oils)

This Champion oil has;
1700ppm of zinc (+/-)
1550ppm of phosphorus (+/-)
(That's another 250ppm of zinc OVER the ZDDP oils out there.
and another 250ppm of phosphorus OVER the ZDDP oils.)

Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying that 250ppm is the difference between wiping a cam lobe, etc. or not, but given the fact that our old "horses" need it to live long, happy lives, ill take an extra 250ppm of zinc and phosphorus.
Ill give it a try and let you all know how it does.

What does it cost per quart? Is Brad Penn one of the "major brands" they compared their oil to?

I buy Brad Penn locally for $5.99/qt.

If you're getting Penn for $5.99 a qt, stick with it! That's cheap!
this champion oil isn't cheaper than the other brands, about the same as royal purple, Lucas etc, around $8-$9 a qt, they also offer it in "kit" form(?) as well.

They don't really list the brands they compared their oil to, I wish they would, I'd like to see what brands were in the comparison,

I get it from a local race shop. You can find it online like Amazon for about that.

I never heard of it but it sounds like good stuff from the info.
