Speaking of different products i see the Blair spot weld cutter has changed from a holding pin in the middle to a drill bit, may be better!

They still make the spring loaded pilot Ron. Bob brings up a good point about the drill bit wearing out. I know I need to hit the pilot on the bench grinder every now and then. No Biggie.

I agree Will, And i think the bit itself will fit (haven't tried it yet) on the original pilot setup.. just wanted to see if any others may have noticed, ive not done enough to wear a set out but, the prices always go up and seeing it at the right time i figured i would be ahead of the game having it... Thanks much bud!!
