Anyone C Body fans? I really wasnt a huge fan for them, but when I had the opportunity to get this one, I grabbed it up. I think its pretty cool, needs a few things to get running right. It's a 68 Chrysler 300 with numbers matching drivetrain. 74K on the ticker. This car is solid, has a couple small spots in the rear lower quarters that need attention. Maybe I'll give it some body and paint work in a few years. I just want to roll it the way it is....:headbang:

Damn John, that's awesome, I've always liked C-bodies, My grandmother was a bit of a hot rod and bragged about how fast the 440 was in her Newport, and I had a buddy in high school who's first car was a late 60's Chrysler 300 with a 440 he hotrodded, they were the ones that got me into Mopars when I was still a young-un. I was even looking at one myself, but trying to reserve funds for the ole Charger. Since you have a new car you probably won't have time for the Coronet...I'll graciously make a spot for it at my place...

In the words of the B-52s...

"Hop in my Chrysler, it's as big as a whale and it's about to set sail,
I got me a car, like, it seats about 20,
So come on and bring your jukebox money."

I've been noticing more and more C bodies coming onto the market over the past two years. And more than a few are coming out of the garages of owners who had them for decades and pass away and their kids are selling them off. Nice thing is a lot of them that I'm seeing are pretty well taken care of and haven't been left outside to rust away like most of the old "pot o' gold" cars coming on the market these days.

nice I like the land yachts :headbang:

cool old cruiser 68 300 sled/boat, good luck

Nice! Get yourself a jerry curl perm, Tom Jones 8-track and a pack of Old Gold's and you'll be choice man...

NICE.

Fast top and hidden headlights.

LOVE those slab side C body cars.

...and the beak MAKES that car!

Along with the other cars in my 'fleet' I own a '68 Fury III. Always like the Fury and Chrysler body styles from the '67-68 years. So congrats and helluva find!

Dood... You are going to have so many ******* glomming onto that car your going to need to carry a large spatula with you everywhere you go to peel them off... Be carefull!
