I'm wanting to buy a driver side rear quarter skin for my roadrunner, but can't get the dimensions of the part. Specifically I want to know the height above the wheel well. The AMD pic shows the 4-5 inches above the side marker, but if you look at the left side pic it looks smaller. When I look at the pic on Sherman Auto it looks like the piece goes all the way up to the trunk. Has anyone gotten quarter skins from those suppliers before?

I wish my pockets were deep enough for a full quarter, GTS. Anybody bought quarter skin for a 71?

I have both quarter panels, --full panels, which are better as you can't see the seam when installed. These I believe are Goodmarks. They are in the body parts for sale section. I will separate them.. Not sure where you are located though. Wish not to ship. Kevin

I bought an OEM skin from Summit and the preliminary mock up is fitting great. Best price in the market and only OEM skin I could find.

Summit gets them from AMD. AMD has the best sheetmetal. Only difference is Summit might offer free shipping for orders over a certain amount. Bottom line is AMD is the source for correct sheetmetal. Pictures, pictures, please :)

Got my quarter skin and I'm impressed with the fit. Mock up is close to complete Here's some before pics of the hack job I paid someone to do. Quarterskin i July 2014.jpgQuarterskin ii July 2014.jpgQuarterskin iii July 2014.jpg

looks like you got a handle on it :headbang:

Had to replace both mine as well along with both outer wheel wells. Makes a world of difference. I had the welding part done, now I'm working on the body work to get it all blended in. Really happy I did it and didn't just try to patch the old ones. Your's looks great!

Thanks Pappy.

Had to remake the inner wheel well lip. Took aleft over piece of sheet metal, hammered a 90 into it, cut into four piece, cut some slits in it to mold the shape and welded it in. Found the trick is to weld high and pull the fold down to the outter fender, then tack them together.IMG_20141103_173459734.jpg
