This could be the best ALL MOPAR HEADS UP RACE EVER.
October is good for some cool air and fast times.
got to be on a 10.5 non W tire,no bigger than 29.5 and radial tires ok no bigger than 315's.
all boosted, turbos, blown, NOS and naturally aspirated cars welcome.
Stock firewall and stock front framerails required to participate.
$50.00 to enter plus gate fee, Winner and runner up gets the purse.

I know putting these things together is a PITA some times & you get people like me, that ask a bunch of questions...

Who's putting this show on, the track or someone else, some other promoter ??
is this a NEDRA race ??
or a Nostalgia S/S race ??
what kind of tree full tree or pro tree, 0.5 or 0.4 tree ??
is this a bracket race ??
or will there be any heads up match/grudge races ??
is it limited to only certain years of older Mopars ??, with just with those few rules listed above ??

I'm just curious, it wasn't really stated above, in those specific rules...

Just curious, why not open up the rules for some ??,
Add classes like,
modified front frame rails
or even tube chassis cars too,
bigger tires even,
you could do minimum weights or a weight per CI, like Comp...
So you don't have to turn willing Mopar racers away...

You could get a much larger pool/base of cars to chose from & to have bigger/better race with more contestants, more MOPAR's,
maybe classify the races by tire size,
chassis style,
suspension style,
or CI even also,
you could put the guys with mountain motors or blown or N20 cars in a different class,
so some of the the slower cars, or smaller tire cars, the lower buck guys, would still have a really good chance...
You could even do by backs, those were always fun too...

You could always, just make them run a different class, for a different purse $$$,
then have a bracket race semi final, with all the class winners, like the old "Pro-Comp", then run for a trophy...

I'm just spit-balling here... it sounds like fun, wish I was back there...

its a All mopar small tire race. there's specific rules that pertain to this event. It is NOT a NENDRA race.
The guys that run this type of class know the rules. i'm just getting it off the ground here in the northeast.
The 6 fastest northeast guys travel 15+ hours to go out to the midwest to race this event and they have won every event.
I think its time that there's a race right here in our own back yard so they can compete w/o having to tow 1000's of miles to achieve the same thing.

Thanks for the response/clarifications/explanation SSR :headbang:

The rules were made to keep me out. Superstockracer is rightfully afraid of me. Anything to keep me out.

Hey chris, you're doing a good thing getting all this together, I'm sure its not easy ignoring the haters and keeping plugging along.

So when you say all mopar event I gather that also means 727 trans only differential limited to dana60 or 8 3/4 otherwise why limit tire size to 29 why not a 31 non w tire I dont get it

Most of the 10.5 guy's run glide's and 9 inch rear ends. I'm pretty sure it's mopar bodied, and powered. Is this correct Chris?

The rules are the same as Monster mopar rules KOS Extreme 10.5 Chris is trying to set up a local race lets not complicate things for him most of are cars are based on these rules we need keep it loose to get as many cars as we can......... just bring it and race must be mopar powered.

Are you going to run in the class ?
Sorry for late response game of thrones came on did not want to miss final episode as far as class my car is setup to run the 8.50 index so under there rules I'm allowed to run a 33x10.5 w tire I run A Hoosier 31x10.5 non w tire I'm one of the few that run an all mopar drivetrain 727/dana60 so wheel speed is an issue for me and i am not about to change my setup for an 1/8 mile event so I guess I will not run your event so that's that good luck with the event I hope it turns out ok

I also run 8.50 index I run 31x 10.5 tire, For this race I run a true 29x10.5 tire mickey Talk about wheel speed the shorter tire increases wheel speed and my car loves it just can't make 1/4 with it best 60 foot ever 1.20 try it you mite like it now come race...

how's the 8.50 index working out for you so far? Have you ran the car yet? the hoosier 31 x10.5 is a W tire you realize.
