Ron Francis came by just now... 1407878068408.jpg1407878445539.jpg1407878631227.jpg1407878540139.jpgc
DId not expect a head light switch... bonus... this will save me some time and money on my harness.... this is the retro kit....

Now the fun begins... along with the relays and wires I have for my sterio and the rebuilt dash....1407879254875.jpg1407879311351.jpg
The dash was redone at bobs speedometer... I did the volt gauge conversion with a 2 1/8" retro style autometer gauge.. and married it to the old gauge... this was a cluster I bought junk from ebay and( my original is still in the car.).. it also was chopped up fir an 8 track which was.why I got a deal on it also.. which is perfect for my player I had redone at Gary's 8 Trac in Arizona....
The bottom component is a line converter.. it smoothes out the signal from the head unit like an eq and static suppressor... so the amps get it clean And it makes the old technology sound better... one the deck is redone

NOICE, it sure is a headach doing the wiring, but ron makes it easier

Let us know how it all goes! As I posted earlier.....I'll be curious!! Cause my kit should be in mail by Thursday! Good luck

Seeing how you got one specifically for the car it should be pretty straight forward, mine was universal and still wasn't bad. Enjoy

Was your old wiring junk, or just replacing it because it's old and brittle?

Just old and there were some places where it started getting sketchy... everything worked... the fuseable link was blown and the ballast for the coil was by passed... it's a preventive thing.... also I'd rather work on the car than drive it... if that makes any sense
