My first foray in the street scene was to mainly check it out for my son. Last night we both went. Found a few muscle cars and a bunch of trucks at the north end of Academy. We got the word it all happening down south. I was in a very fast caravan through town to big parking filled with cars and trucks. There was a ton of Subies, and Hondas. I'm guessing maybe 500 cars. The was one old B body. A 1965 Coronet.

Lots of girls since it was a warm night. I saw the girl that used to clean my house. Lena. She's 25 y.o.and very hot. Great boobs but she seemed intent on tatooing her whole chest. She gave me big hugs which probably freaked all the guys out since I'm 57 and wearing a cowboy hat. There seemed to some people in charge of the thing. They were in the back of a truck and made some announcements. There was a girl with him with long black hair in a tight short dress. She looked like a movie star. I'm not sure who she was but she must have been important since everyone sang happy birthday to her. He announced we were moving to a different part of town. It was a crazy race there but we lost about a third of the cars. Still fun. Left at midnight.

The fast cars were a modded out Subaru, owned by a black guy that introduced himself as Turbo Negro. A couple of new Camaros that were over 500hp and a C6 Corvette Z06 that I heard had over 600. It was fun but now that my son knows how it works I doubt I'll go again.

I know I thought about it but it's kind of creepy of an old guy taking pictures of young babes. The picture I took of the cars turned out terrible. Not worth loading.

Damn, I am 58 and wear a cowboy hat.

Does Lena have a sweater with 10 buttons?

Nothing wrong with pics of 25 yo women. Take and post all you want. Maybe your house could use some more cleaning?

Here's the best I can do. Lena looks a lot eva.jpg like Eva Mendez but 15 years younger and bigger boobs.

Here's the best I can do....

Dang Steve, you didn't take the bait....Does Lena have a sweater with 10 buttons....(where's Coyoteduster when I need him.) For the rest of the story...

The teacher asked the class to use the word 'fascinate' in a sentence.

... girl named Lena has a sweater with ten buttons, but her tits are so big she can only fasten eight.

Ba dump, bump. That is my final attempt at humor this month. :happy9:

Dang it Steve...seems you missed your calling. I hear Mills & Boon are still searching for writers. :toothy9:

I took my Roadrunner out to a couple of my old race spots and was pretty disappointed. There were lots of imports, but only the Mustang kids would come out race. They told me the import kids rarely race, they just want to hangout.

Another problem I've seen is kids today are all about nitrous. Nitrous, nitrous, and more nitrous, which makes them really, really, fast for a very short freaking time. They can only race until they run out of their go-go juice and then they turn into bench racers. And that's if they have the bucks to buy a tank full of gas and a bottle of nitrous.

Seems like the good old days of racing from 9:00 or so at night to 3:00 AM the next morning are gone. Now it's start racing at 9:00 and end by 11:00 at the latest.

I get the impression there is still a lot of racing. They said Turbo Negro was F'king fast. I think I'm way too much of an outsider to hear about it. I have to say the old saw about kids not loving their cars and not modifying them is not true around here. My son spent yesterday compressing the MONSTER springs on the front of his Dodge 2500 to put a 3" lift kit in. The car culture is alive and well. They just don't go to the same places we do.

Kiwigtx I'm sure you were teasing but I have written and illustrated a bunch of kids books. Besides being a geologist I have a book series about dinosaurs and jungle animals.

A little more about Friday. The most awful car there was an old Miata painted flat powder blue It was so low on the highway going to the second location it was throwing sparks from underneath. Diesel trucks are a big thing here. Not just at shows but on the drag strips. This is Colorado Springs so 4X4 trucks and Subarus make more sense than muscle cars.

When I pulled in at first I revved it. About four 14 year old boys ran over to talk ask about my car. I ran through the list of what I had and they were left open mouthed. I told them to stay in school.
