I'm looking to put stickers back on my A12 hood scoop, but Im not running a 6BBL setup. So I thought it'd be cool to have custom stickers made up that look just like the original only they say "440 4BBL" instead.

Has anyone ever seen these made?

Yes, a sign shop that uses a computor controlled program can make you just about anything you want, and you can see what it will look like before they actually make them. These shops are now just about everywhere. I had 413 cu. in. and 365 H.P. stickers made to put on my flat black hood . White with red shadeing. And much less expensive than painted .............................MO

My brother owns his own sign shop. He has made a few sets, I talk to him to see how much they are.

Awesome, reed. I'm almost done editing my own sticker that I'll post tonight, I just don't have it here on my phone.

Here's what I have so far. The app I'm using doesn't allow really detailed work, so it still needs some refining of lines and color.

Where can I find a shop to print off some on quality automotive vinyl stock?

Any chance at also getting the 1970 version of that, 440+4 as well? Sorry to tailgate.

I plan on having a bunch of the 1969.5 stickers made and maybe selling them here. I'll look at the 1970 as well... That is, if I can get time between my 3 kids, building an addition and working 2 jobs... :head_smack:

Thanks HT413! I'm right there with you on almost every step. The only exception being I'm not building an addition.

Haha, yep, kids sure do take up our time.

Alrighty, I'm about done with the graphic and have a couple of quotes coming soon for automotive grade vinyl. Stickers might have to be cut out by hand from rectangular or oval stock just to keep costs down. I'll keep y'all posted.

If you make some 383 4 bbl ones, I'd buy a pair.

I think I'll look into small runs of several sticker types to see if we can satisfy more of the popular configurations out there. I enjoy doing the artwork so it'll be kind of neat.

The 1970 440+4 will be a piece of cake, basically just copy the existing 4 and color it red. 383's will take me some time because I have to create a whole different character and try to match the style. Same with any stroker displacements. But all in due time! The A12 style 440 4bbl stickers, I'm shooting for availability in a month or so. As for the rest, we'll see how my first batch is received.

The irony is I took on that 2nd job for my engine fund. A month later we find out we are expecting our 3rd. :laughing8: There goes the engine fund! Maybe I should find a third job? :eusa_shifty:

My Dad always said "life is like peanut butter. You'd be surprised how thin you can spread yourself out." Of course he was talking about dating multiple girls at once but you get the picture.

I always say I'll sleep when I'm dead. Go for it man.
