New member here! 1969 V02 Road Runner.

Thanks! The aspen white top has never been re-painted. The T7 bronze has. Bought 3+ years ago in MN from family that bought it new. The lady that ordered it new kept the 4 speed but passed on the hemi. Dang!

Welcome from PA and nice car. We'd love to see some more pictures of it - It looks great!

Thanks, appreciate that. Wanna trade, I luv them bee's! The bird is bone stock 383 / 4 speed 323'sg out back. Engine has never left the motor mounts. Has 84k on it. Car is fully documented. Can't find another one like it.

T7 is my favorite.
Works out well since that my car's color too.
All T7 though.
Two tone has a more formal look.

welcome. beautiful car! my first '69 had a black painted roof.

Wow...this is also my first Road Runner!:headbang:

Thanks

Wondering, does anyone have info regarding V02 Road Runners? ( Factory Two Tone Paint) I think 650 were built. Not sure.

About 1.4% of the 69 RR HTs built for sale in the US were two tones so ~650 is close. Two tones are not common at all. Nice find.

Cool car. I sold a 69 Road Runner convertible not to long ago that was T7 with a white top. I always liked that color combo. Seeing yours brings back some memories.

Great information! Thank you.

Cool! Can you share photos of that black top car? Was it a two tone?

I get that. My best friend in HS had a brand new 68 383 4sp triple black bird. Daddy had deep pockets and paid to have the car built as well. Lucky that we survived. Lots of street racing in downtown Minneapolis back in the day. Every time I see a black bird I go back in time.

I forgot, but now that you mentioned it, the rally's were not part of the original package, I have the original 5 bronze steel wheels along with the 4 original Plymouth dog dish poverty caps. She (first owner) didn't like the dog dish caps, so she had the dealer remove them before she took delivery and kept them in storage. She wanted hub caps that covered the entire wheel. Here's the car with the full Chrysler hub caps.
