Been doing bodywork lately and have decided to delete the antenna and turn signals on the front fenders. Any thoughts out there? I think it will end up looking alot better.
i personaly like the fender mounted turn signal indicators, that way i dont need to put them in my custom dash.antenna can look funky, but that is up to the person looking at it.it will all depend on how smooth of a look you are going for.
If the stuff on the fenders bothers you then remove them. Many customizers remove trinkets regularly. Chip Foose seems to hate outside mirrors and removes them all the time.
I think it will smooth the lines and clean up the looks and will look great.
The best test of a modification is that once you do it, no one should notice it was done and i believe that is how this will work.
Go for it!!

Whether you should or shouldn't keep the fender mounted items is really personal choice, but if you do end up taking the antenna off and it's the original, I'd be interested in buying it.....

Yes I would do it. I intend to lose my fender turn signal indicators and the antennae. Also the gas filler door and dodge letters, coronet letters, 500 numbers and the V8 piece. Have to keep the door handles though, it looks goofy without them. I've removed them all as I'm getting ready to media blast soon. Hey if someone cant tell it's a MOPAR them that's tough.

They were so trashed I would have needed to replace the whole cowl or TRY to find a decent section. Didn't find one and I'm not going full bore on this project. I'm making a parts car presentable. Ever seen a piece of Swiss Cheese? Not gonna drive it in the rain.
It looks good i would put a vent behind the back of the splash shield so dampness doesn't fill the interior and frig out the electrical's under dash. just my opinion!
Been sittin for 15 years in the Texas salt grass so If it's gonna get F'd up, I think it's already been done. Thanks. I think it will be OK. Keep it in the garage and dry. I know all the systems 47 years old. I'm keeping an eye on everything.
