Hi, i would like to know if someone can help me with the "maybe missing?" plymouth emblem.

As far as i know the GTX had the red/white/blue emblem in the middle of the grill.
I found some picture with a hood emblem on top in the middle of the hood.
Some with a small "PLYMOUTH" above the left light on the hood and some with the bigger plymouth logo in the middle of the grill.
Which is the right one?

Regards, Nils

Your Sport Satellite(?) should have the long red, white & blue emblem in the center of the grill. The GTX has a 'GTX' emblem in the middle. GTX's have the 'Plymouth' emblem on the corner of the hood, not too sure if the Satellite's had them as well.

This is what you should have for a Sport Satellite. GTX and Sport Satellite with the honeycomb grill had the small 'PLYMOUTH' on the front edge of the hood, regular Satellite, road runner and Belvedere with the vertical slat grill did not.

...and the Road Runner and Belvedere with the vertical slat grill had a "PLYMOUTH" logo on the driver's side in the grill itself.

I miss spoke regarding the placement of the badge on the RR, my bad.

Thanks for all the answers. If NOS/Mopar parts are still available,
could someone of you tell me the part number of those 2 emblems (small hood/grill)?
Just to be sure to order the right emblems. Thx

Hi Nils, I don't know the part number for the "PLYMOUTH" script on the hood but I can give you the measurement of it. It is the smaller of the two scripts at just over 5 1/2" long (142mm). The longer one that goes in the grill of the RR is about 8 3/4" long. Just letting you know so you can chase up the right one.

Seat back latch

Here's the pics I promised you Nils. I couldn't work out how to put them in the PM's so I thought I'd attach them here for you. The 2nd photo shows the release button. It just sits under the outer cover and has a pin which pushes in against the latch release.

In pic three you can see the adjuster bolt which allows a bit of tilt adjustment on the back. In pic four you'll see the latch on the inside against the spring. It works very similar to the glove box latch, locks into place around the retainer bar on the base.

I can only assume that if your seat is not holding back, you may have a broken spring, or missing the latch. To get to the mechanism further you would have to take the plastic back off, (which is an easy 6 screws), and the bottom corner of the back seat cover off. I think you would only have to remove a couple of the cover clips to get at it though so it should be doable. Hope this helps Nils. Glenn.
