hey everyone iam looking for some good estimates on what my 440 would be making for HP at the crank. its a 440 30 over with KB pistions 9.5.1 comp 906 stock heads edlebrock ch4 dualplane intake a comp cams xe 275hl 231/237 @50 525 lift headers running a quick fuel 830 vac carb . iam thinking somewhere around 380-400 the bottom line is its not enough iam really thinking of going to a set of aluminum heads edelbrock rpms an the rpm intake. but iam really unsure where the piston is in the hole so i have to take a head off an see .so i can figure out what cc heads to get , i would like to get to the 500 hp mark

you won't get to 500 with that cam and intake, but a good set of heads will probably add an honest 40hp. the main thing to look for is whether you have quench dome pistons or flat tops.

they have a popup on one side of the piston .ya knew i would have to change the intake to the edelbrock rpm style.

then you would need the 88cc edelbrocks. they will have to be milled to keep the proper quench distance.
