Hi, just picked up a transmission filter spacer so I can install my deep pan. The spacer came with 3 bolts, washers, an o-ring, and a plastic washer. It did not come with instructions. I know what the bolts and o-ring are for but not sure about the plastic washer or which side goes toward the trans. Any help with a link to diagram or advise is very welcome. Thank you.

I have never done one but I would think the seal goes between the spacer and the trans as any leak will or could suck air

Brand, got pics? My Mopar version just used a "paper" gasket between the spacer & valve body & nothing between the spacer & filter.

Are you using a transmission with a rear pump? It requires a hole in spacer and gasket to feed the pump.

I just installed one last weekend. It was a Derale set up with deep pan. Spacer had a groove for the o ring and that went against the valve body and then the filter is held on by the new longer bolts with washers.

Mine is from Mopar performance part # P4510054. It has a groove on one side for the 0-ring, other side is smooth.
