I cannot seem to find much info on this and just testing the waters to see if it is worth selling. I have a fairly clean original tic toc tac that I bought back in the 80's. No idea if it works or not. I am sure it could be cleaned up some. I have a Charger Specialties and have no need for it. What would be a fair price for someone wanting an original to restore? Someone on EBay is asking $200.00 for one. Trying to get rid of stuff to drum up some green to finish my restoration. Thanks guys. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Last time I checked the new repro version was $325 :icon_thumleft:

Yes. Just not sure what an original that may or may not work is worth?

I was able to buy mine from a member here for $100. The clock didn't work (does now) and it needed the electronic upgrade...obviously.
I believe I got a real bargain as this unit is completely rust/blemish free.

Thanks. That helps give me an idea.

IMG_7785.jpg Yours needs complete restoration including conversions for quartz clock and electronics for tach, reset stem, overlays or silk screen. $200 would be fair for both parties. The aftermarket ones work ($325 to $400) but the detail is just not as good. (based off of objective data by comparing each). I have been restoring these for years. Steve in Wyoming

Thank you. Great info!

mine was switched to a quartz movement (sweeping second had instead of ticking) Does this do anything to the value?
