Hi Everyone,
My '69 Sport Satellite is going into the shop next weekend to have "everything PST" installed...I'm upgrading the 318/904 to a 440/727 so in addition to the new suspension and steering gear, I'm also having the factory (appearing) power front disc brakes installed. Manual drums won't cut it with a 440 in there.
With the new brakes, I will need to upgrade to 15" rims and I'm going to go with the Magnum 500s and a tire size of 235/60/15. Both BFG and Cooper give a recommended rim width of 6.5 - 8.5 inches for those size tires.
I'm wondering what rim width my fellow FBBO members are running with tires that size? This seems to be the most common size I see at Mopar Car Shows, but I'm hoping for some insight on rim width.
Thanks as always for the help.
Chris
