Looking for reccomendation for replating pot metal

I've read and heard lots of bad stories about sending parts to companies for re chrome plating. Can anyone please steer me to a good company for re-plating pot metal ??

I never used them but read lots of good reviews about them on here. They are located on Ontario Canada but also have a shipping warehouse in Buffalo.

I've used Cambridge custom chrome for over 30 years and for pot metal it will look like nos. they can be pricey but it's worth it. there is also a plater in Gainsville TX. called North Texas Quality chrome. I've seen there work and shop and now that I'm in TX. I will try them. what ever you do DONOT use A1 chrome or JT chrome plus 4 other aka's that set up at swap meets they are scammers!!!!

I had my pitted B body console tops replated by The Best Chrome in San Martin, CA. But yes, this is a difficult task and the end result lies heavily on removing the oxide (pits).

I got my vent wings done from advanced custom chrome and will use them again for my bullet turn signals ( they are pot metal). They are from Pa. They are expensive but good. They got a web site.www.advancedcustomchrome.com

Nobody i mean nobody can do a great job on Pot metal. The base casting oxidizes from inside out and forever will produce pits. At best you can media blastt he Pits, fill with silver solder, plate with Nickel, copper then chrome. But never will you be completely happy.
