BB 727 torqueflite bellhousing

Can anyone tell me if the .500 bellhousing holes in the torqueflite BB transmission is tapered or is it .500 round all the way through.
I need to knock out 2 dowels that are stuck in my bellhousing and I want to knock them out from front to back and not back to front because my CSR shield is in the way and I have limited space and cant get to the back from the engine compartment. Too tight of a fit.

Funny thing is I have one, but its on my 63 pushbutton race transmission.
I cant spend any more money except for the new pushrods for the 588 wedge.lol
