Inherited a '64 Fury pulled form a garage where it had been sitting since 1973.

Now sitting in my driveway for the last 3 months.

Mostly complete, and rust hasn't taken it (yet), but it needs A LOT of work.

I don't have the time (work and little ones) to even think about renting a garage and then learning how to not screw it up.

I will either sell off or restore depending on my options "locally" (basically draw perimeter from Reading to Allentown to Atlantic City to Wilmington) for restore.

Pointing me toward somewhere would help. Everyone I have talked to thus far knows-someone-who-knows-someone that has never returned a call and I'd really hate to sell it for $200 of scrap.

Trying to save it most for sentimental purposes, but also 'cause it's a great car.

Thanks.

Don't take it to Shelly's Auto Body in Danielsville, Pa. Scum sucking Chevy thief. Messed up my Coronet back in the day.
Have you browsed Yelp? I would not know where to go or how to get advice either. For my needs, I'd just go to Maaco. "Restore has a lot of $$$ ramifications. Can it be repaired, prepped and painted just to enjoy the car? Got pics?

Looks like there may be a market up there for this sort of work? I have family in PA/DE area, and thought about when I get tired of Texas move my operations up there somewhere.

The last time it was started was sometime in the '80s.

I know it is going to be a long road.

Before you send it anywhere decide what you want to spend,if you want it done right it will probably be more than it's worth.

If $10k makes it runnable and another $10k makes it "beautiful", then that may be worth it.

Maybe a bit out of your mileage range but this shop is good for the kind of work you are looking for. They do all makes and are very trustworthy...I think they can stay within your budget. Ask for Kurt.

I went there years ago but it looks like they are doing more mopars. Picture 13 in there finished rides gallery is a nice red 64 fury.

At least you got the car for the right price!

I know nothing about these shops, but they are not far from King of Prussia. Both say they specialize in Mopars, so that's at least a start. You can almost walk between the two of them as they are in the same town.
