Welcome to the For B-bodies only forum!
Thanks for joining.

You do know there is a difference between a A12 option and a Hemi car?

1. There were 1,907 A12 Superbees produced half year 1969
2. 166 Hemi Superbees produced in 1969 with I think 438 being 4-speed.

Good luck with your search!

Welcome to the site.....and please read the rules before posting. Also we do have a section for placing wanted ads. Thanks

Join the crowd. Cars-on-line has a few. There was a nice butterscotch one that was sold for about $80,000.00 and the new owner is trying to flip it for $120,000.00 now (give or take a few thousand).

Thank you guys for the info and warm welcome. Moderators - I can only find the "for sale" rules, and not overall general positng rules for the site. If it's against policy to post a phone number please advise.

Also, can any of you seasoned Mopar guys provide a ballpark fair price range for the following non-numbers matching Bee? The interior shows age and wear, but appears to be all original from my amateur eye. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/houston/1969/dodge/super-bee-S85.html

Beautiful car but I think that price is outrageous considering it's non numbers matching.

Thouhts?

Can any of you seasoned Mopar guys give a ballpark range as to what a fair price for the following Super Bee might be worth? The interior shows wear and age but appears to be all original from my amateur eye. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/houston/1969/dodge/super-bee-S85.html

Beautiful car, but the price seems outrageous considering it's a non-numbers matching.

Thoughts?

I agree with your statement about the outrageous price. $80,000.00 maybe...
All A12 packages on the 1969-1/2 Plymouth and Dodges have a 440 six barrel and none have a Hemi. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I have read bad reviews and a few folks on this very forum have had issues with them. Also all originality claims and number matching claims are not verified by them and up to the BUYER to verify prior to purchase!

Heck!
RC sold his 69 1/2 A12 roadrunner for something like $30K last year!
A "post-car" too!
Sure it wasn't a "original matching numbers" car but THAT was a deal!

I bought it. It was more than that. You will not find one like it for $30k. You are not going to find a decent A12 for 30k. You will see on the website above.

I WAS going to pick it up....
Yup, it was a bit more than $30K but YOU GOT A GREAT CAR!

Welcome to FBBO

good luck with your quest for a 1969 426ci Hemi 4 speed Super Bee

as mentioned above by our esteemed Super-Bee_Ski

You really need to be careful , there are alot of A12 clones that are passed off as real ones. You need to know the difference.

Gents,

Thanks for the tips and your overall friendly nature of words. A simple verification of the VIN thru the A12 registry would do the trick, correct?
I also found this black one, but it's an automatic. - http://www.raysauto.com/muscle10.htm

One more question, did they make a factory black A12, or was it just the four colors (orange red, green, butterscotch)?

Welcome to the site. I would start by taking some time to educate yourself on the A12 cars. Everything you need to know is at the A12 Registry site and it's restoration forum.

All but one of the cars listed in the links above has been on the market for some time or being flipped by dealers. Google is your friend. Search the VIN number and the digital finger print will show up. Most have one.

Good luck on your search, and don't be afraid to ask questions.
