66 Coronet Convert Top/mechanism removal

Good Morning Team FBBO,

I plan to take the Top and mechanism off the 66 Coronet today/tomorrow. Can someone please recommend a procedure that gives me the best chance to survive the process without stitches AND not break anything on the mechanism. Is this a job for 1, 2 or how many folks are best to be involved?

It is very simple. Mark where location, so you can put back exactly where it is. unbolt and remove, just lift it straight up, " do not lift by bows".

If the hydraulic lines are original, they will be brittle and you'll most likely snap them upon removal. Perhaps you'll get lucky, but if not, don't fret it, most sets are available and around $100.
