Ok those clusters work with 12 volts using electric gauges, not like stock ones working with 5 volts voltage limiter. Will need mods ? yes, not hard to do but still need mods on cluster end ( not bulkhead though ).

However the seller states the phantom MECHANICAL gauges. Temp and oil will be using diff senders sources ( mechanical of course ). Will run couple of hoses through the firewall ( one copper for the temp, one rubber/plastic for the oil ).

Next instructions are for electrical gauges, mechanical gauges will be despited and stock wires for those will be unused, but the rest of wiring meets this job

The main one is feed with 12 volts one side of each meter. Not hard to do. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE rallye cluster just use the wire arriving to voltage limiter ( black ) and splice that power to each electrical gauge positive terminal.

Sender wires to the other lead of meters: violet ( temp ) Blue ( gas ) and gray ( oil ) can still be the same existant without no job ( more than meet the terminal to gauge ).

then also would need to splice ammeter wires together. Positive lead of voltimeter can be the same then the previous meters. The other lead, must be grounded.

Cluster lighting can be the same wires ( oranges ), but will requiere to spread a ground netwire to feed the othe bulb leads ( can be shared with voltimeter - lead ). The voltage limiter gtes also a ground lead ( wide spade terminal with black wire to ) you can spread that wire to all gorund requirements.

Mostly sure will need to make the tach harness assuming your car doesn't have tach

If your car is standard cluster will requiere more wiring job, but still not hard to do. Pretty much the same than the explained above but more wires to run involved ( since on standard cluster the sources are on the printed circuit board )

NOTE... You'll be mising the pilot lights ( turning and brake ) from stock cluster. Those wires will be hanging around. So isolate those.

Thanks for your input, Nacho. They look nice though

Those are nice but to me there boring if I wanted to run mechanical gauges I'd run the stock ones. Go on Dakota digital and look up the kit for your car it's not much more money and there super easy to install because it's all elc good luck ether way

"Dakota Digital" is that a web site?

**UPDATE** I answered my own question. They don't have gauges etc for my car, a '71 RR
Thanks

you can get same cluster but change the gauges!!! choose your own gauges! go to manufacturer website instead the ebay vendor:

http://classicdash.com/product/1971-74-roadrunner-6-gauge-panel-with-auto-meter-gauges/

it seems the turn, high beams and brake indicators comes with the kit... somehow, when choosing diff gauges set

checking the seller ebay store, they have more gauges and bezel options. Same the manufacturer offers, but better priced

If you ask me, the american muscle gauges are the best looking ones for a fancy look :D

or High Velocity 60's Muscle Gauges set for a more somehow "stockish vintage" look

The illumination on those gauges is horendous ! Something newer with LED back lighting is more pleasing to the eye especially at night. My Autometer set stay illuminated all the time and really look as if they belong there and I installed the dimmer unit for night time driving. Check out their American Muscle Series.

Actually, Autometer's Factory Match Mopar gauges will look right at home in your car and they are also LED illuminated.

shame NOBODY OFFERS ammeters. I preffer ammeters over voltimeters. Will search on autometer website what they offer for ammeters

Did a quick look at Autometer but didn't have enough time to spend on the site. Couldn't find the factory match Mopar gauges.

I was under the impression that ammeters is a weak part in these cars. Many suggested to switch to volt meter. I'm not an electrician but would hate to have a electrical fire after putting time, $$$, and patience in doing my car.
Electrical is my weak point. I'd need help if I was to change the gauges and the bezel

Thanks guys

ammeter is a weak part if things go wrong and you don't understand how the system work. Same as a weak gas line prone to leak due poor conditions
