The cartoons don't show that the coyote is faster, but they also don't show that road runner birds can actually fly to escape. Dropping an anvil on the coyote slows it down quite a bit as well.

This got out of hand. No, I don't thing TOO highly of myself. I was making the point that I was a Carpenter, not a School Teacher.
Mistakes? I can be as humble as anyone. If I misunderstood, misspelled or took something out of context, I will surely admit fault when I learn of my mistake.
This started off with a cartoon joke, right?


I made a joke of it in my first response, look at post #7 to see who really made it clear. You had plenty of time to edit your post. When a mistake of mine is pointed out, I try to correct it right away.
No need to get all worked up over it.
