i have made the decision to sell my hemi car for a couple of reasons. the biggest reason being the current exchange rate of our canadian dollar to u.s. dollars at this time, approx 30%. the price is a firm $60,000.00 canadian dollars now you do the math. i am also selling another higher value car, non mopar, for the same reason.
the car is a 69 2dr, h/t, 440 model, with a late date production 68 hemi re-built engine with build sheet, a new tko 5spd/fluid clutch and steel tko housing, new moser dana 60 disc brakes with 3:90 ratio. new rear springs with cal-trac adjustable bars. new drive shaft and universals. hemi torsion bars and frame connectors to be included.
the motor is presently a single 4bl intake with a 850 holley. 2x4 intake to be included, no carbs. new robb mc starter, new msd ignition, new ceramic headers with 3 inch exhaust with dougs electric cut outs. as with most of these older cars there are stories with them and this engine has one also. back in 69 two guys in new brunswick canada bought 2 new hemi road runners. the one guy apparently was a bit of a partier and blew this engine up and it was replaced under warranty. a short while later he wrote the car off and it had been sitting in the back of a shop for many years untill the guy i bought it off purchased it from his widow. this is the friend who bought the other r/runner back in 69 and he still has his. he sent the motor in for re-build and i bought it off him in 2005.
i bought the car in 2006 in pomona ca. it is/was an original black plate car, one plate to go with car, with a 318 auto in it, to go with car. i drove it for 2 summers while i put the parts together for the project as i already had the engine for it. i have 2 appraisals. one from when i brought it home in 2006 and one from after the project was finished in 2012 and copies of which go with it. 2006 @ $19,500.00-2012 @ $60,450.00.
guys there is a bunch more that can be said but this is a good start. i will get the appraisals put into a pdf format for forwarding and you can check my threads for pics and info as it was put together. i will deliver to any u.s./ontario border crossing at n/c. or i will assist with any other shipping method. price is as mentioned above.
