All I see from that picture is a folded corner piece of paper with a frown. That car is very nice! I have never seen one before and it really does look like a 4 Door Barracuda........even without squinting.

ECS cmon you have seen this before....remember Mad Max!That car is very nice! I have never seen one before and it really does look like a 4 Door Barracuda........even without squinting.
TUFCAT keeps getting mentioned by YOU? ........

I have only seen bits and pieces of Mad Max. Was THAT the type of car he drove in the original movie?
I can tell you for a fact he is NOT one of these guys....He is doing well, I will relay your kind words...Don't exaggerate now! I wouldn't be surprised if someone posting here is not his alias. I haven't thought about or mentioned the guy (other than tonight) in quite some time. Going back and looking at some of the old threads reminded me of him. I hope he's doing well...........
Sadly, Dave, that seems to be how society is anymore.
Yep, complete with an aftermarket nose cone. Some of the factory originals could even beat the Max car for looks. Hard to beat this:

They even had a 2 Door version!! I have never seen that model of car before. Were they limited production?
When I was very young, my father had a 1973 Fairmont Coupe with a 302 and auto - a very fast car...but the Arab fuel crisis hit and forced many people to sell the muscle type cars in favour of smaller 4-cylinder cars. That Fairmont would be worth a fortune now.
Just a quick update RC. The Water Pump Pulley and Power Steering Pulley for a 1973 340 are smaller in diameter than the ones used in 1970. The Crank Pulley also sits further out on a 1970 340 than the 1973 340 Pulley does. We have the "new" ones ready to bolt on after the paint cures.
Interesting theory, but no chance.
my own personal gripe which got me going was the "additional speculation" of many other 4-door versions of 2 door cars being presented as fact. Later, the added discussion turned to the possibility of false VINs being made.
I really don't have anything additional to add and for me, this topic has run its course.
