Has anyone here done a axle flip in order to lower their car? I want to drop the rear of my 69 coronet and have considering this. Any pics? Thanks

Just use lowering blocks, way easier, not to mention cheaper.

On your car the axle is already "flipped". Flipping the axle is a technique used to lower trucks where the axle is on the opposite side of the springs. Lowering blocks are easy and cheap. You may want to check the clearance between your floor pan and driveshaft. I bought a '62 B body that had 2" lowering blocks. On moderate bumps the driveshaft would hit the floor. I guess the pinion snubber had been removed to keep it from bottoming on bumps.
