And a full floating axle is even WAY better with two much larger tapered rollers on each wheel!
We should all be running 1 ton axles for safety.

Mine went well over 300 miles......at the drag strip......and they were still good when I sold the car.Extolling the virtues of Green bearings seems to be the equivalent of . . . . . .

I did something like 30,000 miles on mine over the course of 21 years.....but hey, what do I know?
I noticed that later model 3/4 ton pickups have semi floating axles while the diesels have full floaters. My older (late 70's) 3/4 tons all had full floaters in them. Not sure but think Fords started using semi floating on their lighter duty 3/4 ton trucks some time back. And a full floating axle is even WAY better with two much larger tapered rollers on each wheel!

Mentioned earlier, life is full of regrets. An ever-optimistic friend said you can view it more ways than one, similar to making mistakes. If you haven’t made any it could mean you haven’t done or accomplished anything. I found it food for thought, though his optimism has irritated me at times, lol.So here is food for thought I have a willwood rear disc brake kit on car ,
Now I remember why I went to Greens .
I believe it was required to run the disc brake kit with park brake inside the hat.
Uggh!
My memory is coming back , also had to return the Moser axles with screw in lugs for press fitt studs because I wanted to run fancy brakes ......
Never again!
