headlight dash harness install

what position should the harness socket be installed on switch,there is a clip on side of harness should that on the left or right side of switch,or should the green wire be on top or bottom of switch? i think it was installed with green wire showing at bottom position where it is flickering high beams, i hope green wire should installed at top position. thanks

found the problem it was the new headlight switch was bad. thanks
