Does anyone have or know where I can find a decent heat/vent vacuum switch for a 65' Belvedere 1 ? All the nipples are broke off mine. If I'm reading the part # correctly it looks to be 2253881.
Thanks

Go to THE 62 TO 65 B body site there is someone there that repairs those switches.

He fixed mine, handful of years ago. Great job!
Located in Sherman, too (if he hasn't moved off).

Maybe it's just me, but I can't find anything on the 62'-65' site. Do you have a name, email, address or phone number for the guy?

After re-reading your question, remembered the guy in Sherman fixed my button sliders, where the buttons fit in.

The nipples on mine, fixed myself. Took the switch apart (using small screws to put it back together), cut the broke nipples flush, and drilled partway where the nipples were.
Used aluminum tubing, the modeling kind, and glued new nipples into place. Just had to be sure the holes were clear, when things were done.
Don't remember if the guy in Sherman has a repair for the nipples.

Just installed the switch Anthony repaired. Works great. I'd recommend him to anyone!

I boxed it up along with a $75 MO. Mailed it last Friday and got it back Tuesday. He replaced all broken/missing nipples on the back. Cleaned the inside and replaced the push button sockets.
