Hey what do you guys put on galley plugs silicone, anaerobic sealer or just blue loctite?

Also does anyone know where they all go? I got a bag of them back from the machinist with my block. There are 3 bolt head plugs which I know where they go and 6 large Allen head plugs. I know 2 go on the back near the freeze plug and 2 in the front behind the timing cover. This leaves 2 that I can't seem to find a place for.

What engine? On big blocks and hemis, one of the plugs is for the fuel pump pushrod installation hole. I thought there were three behind the timing cover.

It's a 440 and yes I know about the 3 -1/4" pipe on on either side of block and one by the sending unit.

Ok so the 3 pipe thread plugs I know where to put. 5 of the Allen head plugs I know now as well 2 in the timing cover 1 for fuel pump rod installation hole and 2 on back of block. I now have one left I need to figure out. Any info on what type of sealer people are having good luck with on these would be helpfull as well. Thanks

The intake wasn't on when it went to the machine shop I stripped everything off block before dropping off. When I got back from machine shop he handed me a bag of plugs and said I forgot to remove them.

Just getting coffee into me...foggy. Look top to bottom 'inside' the front of the block. Keep thinking there's a oil galley in there, that takes a plug.

I'll give it a look after work. I looked in there before all around where the distributor bushing is couldn't find anything. It's possible I missed it I'll look again definitely not putting it together until I figure it out.

From the oil pump mounting pad, main feed oil galley goes into the timing chain area, at an angle...takes a plug there...got it in?
btw...I've always used a light wipe of Indianhead shellac on my plugs.
