Just started to rebuild(newby) my Dads old charger, it has no front end at all as we speak

they are out there
you just need some patience and money
and to keep your eyes open on all the major mopar sites and ebay
and also check the major swapmeets that you live near
you can also throw up a wanted ad in the right section on this site
they are something you won't see for sale everyday

Super difficult to find without hard to fix rust and dings and dents on the point.

Sorry, just the truth.

73/74 will physically bolt on but one body line is not quite the same and the wheel opening is slightly different. Unfortunately those are almost as difficult to locate without the afore mentioned issues.

Thank you guys! I'm located in knob noster, Missouri. next to whiteman Air Force base, about an hour east of Kansas City. ******Please do not post your telephone number as per site rules - use "Conversation" function for contact.

Dvap.com is good but expensive I've ordered some parts from them the extremely hard to find with no rust deck lid for a 73 charger it was $400 shipped not good but not bad .

Remember 72 is one year only as stated above 73-74 have funny wheel wells and body lines are screwy at the points the fender meets the door. But if you have nothing and that's all you need to drive it I'd deal with it .and I'm sure you know 71 is purity much the same as 72 but the marker light is way different but easy to weld up and make work . Hopefully I gave you some needed info if you knew this already sorry disregard. I know a guy with mostly rust free 71 fenders but he thinks there made of gold $550 each

There is an ad for a 72 being parted on this site. The car is in Alabama. Maybe you have seen it already

Too bad you are not in my neck of the woods, I'm just outside Toronto, Ontario Canada and have a pair that I am reluctantly going to be selling. Had them off the car for about 20 years.
Maybe you will run into someone like me who has the parts for sale. I'd keep them but will be needing the money to complete my resto.
Good luck in your search.

thank you so much for all of you guys information. this is my first forum and its been awesome to see so many mopar fans helping each other out.

mark will hook you up.
he has helped me out many times in the past.

Hi neighbor, just west of you off 50 Hiway down by Holden. Feel your pain with finding useable fenders for a 71-72 Chargers. I searched high and low for a set for my 71 for a couple years, then one day there was a set connected to a car, so I purchased to whole car mostly to get those fenders, trunk lid and valances. I know a couple guys that might have some. I'll check with them.

Mike

You are not to terribly far from Texas. There is a 72 with no title for sale that I was going to buy for the a/c components. I offered the guy 1500 and he said it was the lowest he was willing to go but I got vetoed when I tried to get it. Apparently our two car garage is not big enough for 2 projects and my car buying privileges have been revoked! :). This would be great for you since it is the exact car you have and could have many other needed parts.
