Thought I would take a few n tell you bout my project. 73 charger. Base model. Originally 318 car. Engine long gone. I'll be patching the quarters and new floor boards. Replacing both fenders. And I have a built 440/727 to put in. The interior is all but gone so that gets new too. In the process of building a rotisserie for it now. Any and all suggestions/advice greatly appreciated. Also need a big block k member.

Welcome Bob, it's going to be cool when you have finished. Are you going to change the color, or repaint the same?

Might be better off fixing the fenders.

Those are super hard to find, especially without the corners bashed in or rust through in the nose area.

Not sure on color yet. Either black or b5 blue. Maybe. The fenders are rusted through on top. If I can't find originals I may go fiberglass. Or try to patch the originals. I plan to coat the body with bed liner. Except the out side of coarse

The engine was in my pickup. 10 to 1 cr. Mid size mopar cam. Performer rpm. 750 Holley. I'll roll in new bearings when I change the pan. Give it a fresh coat of paint. The truck ran mid 13s. It's a 12 valve cummins now.

I'm jealous I want a 73-74 hardtop car so bad. I can't seem to find decent ones anymore. There's one down here but man he is extremely proud of his blown up 318 and 904 $6500 for the rusty car . People are going insane with these asking price
God help us all a base charger project is a little under the price of a restored one.

Yea it's crazy the prices of these cars. Has taken me several years to find the right one. I looked at one in Enid. Complete but very rusted out. They wouldn't drop under $2500. I gave $1500 for this one. If somebody was interested I'd pm the contact info for the one I didn't buy. But it was pretty bad. Fist size holes rusted in the roof bad.

What's the sign with the 3 yellow triangles in the circle? I like it wanta sell it ? Or trade for some needed parts? Do you need any parts ?
