Yesterday was our female Jack Russel's 16 birthday. nearly blind, low hearing , and getting weak in rear legs. House dog since a puppy. still very alert and happy dog--eats good. Got to prepare for the final day cause she is like one of our kids.....................................MO

Yeah we had to put a cat down several years ago when the kids we younger. Especially tough on my daughter. Her boyfriend and his parents just put their yellow lab down. He was a good dog, 13 or 14 year old, but really took a down turn when Ben went to college. Best of luck to all the older pets and owners out there.
