I had a couple stop by this week. JWs I live way out in the country and have a couple of black labs running free. Damn dogs let em come up the lane right up to the door. Took me 10 min to get rid of them. I think my dogs were punishing me for having them neutered.

Back in the middle sixties my Dad shot a JW. The idiot came up the drive and knocked on the screen door and then CAME IN THE HOUSE! Dad was about to go out rabbit hunting and had a loaded 16 gauge in his hands when he walked around the corner of the living room wall into the dining room and saw this dufuss. Didn't hear the knock. Shot his ***. Didn't kill him, thank God, but ruined his legs. No charges were filed. We NEVER saw another one.

Two women and 2 small children knocked kinda hard on the door and well, I didn't like that too much and was already sick of people pounding on my door for one reason or another. I didn't see the kids when I peeked out of the window or I probably wouldn't have done that. Our front door has those arched panes at the top and if you're under 5 feet tall and close to the door, seeing who is there isn't real easy. When I yanked open the door, all of them stepped back about 3 feet in unison lol. Don't think there's been a single JW here since!

I get the JW at my door on occasion, and I let them know that I am working because I do actually work from home, and they understand and leave. I will give them credit for doing what they believe in. I do not know of any other religion that will knowingly walk in to abusive situations week in and week out to do what their beliefs require.
