You can count me in!!

Thanks for the pics. Gorgeous inside & out ! And, what tops it off for an ol' skooler like me, are the cragar wheels, column tach, & gauge pod. And, most importantly, hope your convalescence is going well, and you're feeling fine.
Thanks for the well wishes. I've had 3 lower back surgeries, and unfortunately the all failed to fix the problem. It's more or less a spinal cord injury. I take it one day at a time, and thank the Lord I can still walk!! ☺

Love your sweet ride! Nice color too! I have a 68 myself and live in SoCal too. I'm a bit of a distance from you though as I live in South O.C. Hope your back is much better and you begin enjoying your X again.

I recently started a 440 that sat for 10 years. I used 10W-40 and a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil to clean out the gunk. The bigger issue will be the fuel. My car had sat for three years and the gas was orange and clogged up the new carb quickly. I drained out the tank, and refilled with fresh and the engine ran great. Then it sat for another five months while I waited for cooler weather to arrive, and the gas in the tank was already a brownish color.

I would go to Home Depot and get one of their siphon pumps and some plastic hose. Cost about $20, and drain out the gas tank.

I've never had gas/varnish/oil issues on cars that sat for years.
Most of the time, they would start OK on old fuel.
Just drive a day then oil change.

Thanks for your comment. My first X was also a 68 with a Hurst 4 speed. Messed up my left knee sold the 68, and found the 69 with a 727!!
