Holley 750 DP Base Plate Repalcement

I suspect I have a vacuum leak through the secondary throttle shaft of my Holley 750 DP due to wear. I'm contemplating a base plate change out. Anybody have experience with Holley carbs or recommendations on which brand to put on?

Easy fix,buy some .001/.002/.003 brass shim stock,use a combination of whatever it takes to remove the play,you can put it in without taking it apart and it won't come out.

I need one for my 3310 as well, secondaries were frozen. Destroyed the shaft taking it out of the base plate. Will be watching this thread !

The secondary shaft's are pretty much the same as the 4150/4160,if you can get a picture I have a lot of parts.

Replacements can be had from Holley, will need the LIST number i.e. 3310-1/ 4776-5 etc. Also Proform and some others have billet replacement units.

Providing the LIST is another problem all to its self. The choke horn has been milled and through measurements of the venturies, throttle bore, and throttle blades I finally found I had a 750.

So that should be a 4779-something. Don't think it matters too much on the baseplates. Metering blocks yes for sure.
