Ok how did this happen

This is a pic That I came across about 10 years ago. Someone hit a mattress in the road and kept driving until the truck stopped moving. Was towed to dealer. and this is that pic. I believe it took most of the day to clip all that wire from driveshaft. And it looks like the output housing on the trans got lunched as well.

Yeah I've seen one like that not as bad though ,driver said "I no hit anything must be like that when I tooka the truck out in de morning!" Also had one where the bell housing broke and the trans started spinning ripping apart every elc and air line near the trans that took awhile to fix .

That's a scary looking crash no doubt. I hope the driver survived given where the crash was on the car. A 68 GTX too...... Big bummer

Wire strippers got lost somewhere in the giant pressroom.
