What auctions? I didn't see that at Mecum Kissimmee and BJ is NR.

the high end stuff might be stagnate
but the nicer lower end stuff is creeping upwards for sure.
there are many more people out there who can drop 30 or 40 on a car
then there are people who can drop 3 times that amount
i'm shocked at what I have seen some junk has sold for..

Mecum field was full of bgo cars, only the collections sold and not all of them. I brought 2 out of 4 back from mecum and my buddy came home with 3. Ken took 4 cars to barret and was pissed they all sold low, Barret is all no reserve so it is what it is. I won't go to barret anymore. My, 69 Camaro 305 cross ram with build sheet went to 60 on Sunday I re-ran it Wednesday went to 55. Talk at the auction was no money in the room. I was thinking maybe election had something to do with it. Maybe maybe not, been taking cars for years never brought any home. Looks like restomods and trucks were pulling money, anything with a late model drivetrain did good. I had a yenko replica I usually get 45-55 for those, went to 35. It's getting a LS now.

Of course the cars and parts are going overseas for larger loot, than here. Why would someone bother with the extra logistics, if someone here would pay the same money. I sent some parts to Europe awhile back. I don't care where the stuff goes. It's just stuff.

RC - would it be out of line to ask if you got a "pretty penny" for your cars from this guy in holland? And also how do you list theses cars- where etc? If I ever sell my GTX I had been considering going out of the country if I can't get the $$ I want in the U.S..

I got what I would consider fair market value for the car. He's paying about 3 grand to have it shipped and then he's got taxes over there to contend with.. As mentioned, I sold him a car a year & a half ago & around the time I was thinking about advertising this car, out of the blue, he contacted me asking if i knew of any good cars for sale. That's when I told him about mine.
