Hi im making my own harness and have got a new fuse block ( mini blade type) and i was wondering if the wiring on the fuse block has to be the same as the old block. The old fuse block has a few circuits running off one fuse. Should i do that or can i run them all on their own fuse now that I have more fuses?

Don't know why not.
Main thing is using the right size fuse, for each circuit. Probably go by the stock fuse sizes on various circuits, as a guide.

"The old fuse block has a few circuits running off one fuse." These circuits used a bit higher value fuse so in the event that both circuits were activated they wouldn't blow the fuse. Always best to run separate circuit fuses for the heavier loads like headlights, brake lights, lighter and heater blower. The more you divide the circuits to separate fuses the better so only one circuit goes down when a fuse blows. Some fuse panels are specifically marked as to which circuit they service, and ensures that the internal buss strips in the fuse block are matched to the loads they designate to prevent the strips from heating up and causing a melt down within the plastic block. These are particularly nice fuse blocks, in that, a circuit can be readily identified when the ignition, headlights, panel lights or whatever fail to activate.

Also remember some sections of the block are always hot and others are only hot when the ignition is "on" or in accessory.

Ok thanks guys. My fuseblock has 2 separate buses so i might run one side hot and one paired with acc/ign. I will get the correct fuse sizing aswell.
