So obviously a car is ALOT bigger when you take it apart. In trying to stay organized during disassembly, i typically put all the small parts and hardware in baggies with what they are written on it. But baggies are sooooo annoying sorting through later. Small shoe box size bins seem too big for most things that baggies are nice for. Those big footlocker sized totes are nice for lots of things piled in but always too short for most pieces of trim to store them safely. Do they make longer but shallow bins? And big parts like fenders or deck lids usually take up so much space they get spread out. I have two old panel trucks full of random parts from all my cars. big shelves like the mini pallet rack style shelves at lowes are great but i cant fit any more of those anywhere. I have one just full of engine blocks... How do you guys do it? Between taking a car apart and having a pile of new parts to install, some of you guys must have a pretty decent method to organize and store everything.
