part # for 440 starter?

Ordered a remy #17346 which is there replacement for the Mopar 56028715AD starter. but it doesn't fit/
I thought all the Mopar v-8 starters were the same? and would fit the 440's?

Looks different in pictures. Also says it fits 02-05 dodge 4.7l V8. Get one for an early '90s Dodge Dakota with a 318.

I have personally bought five or six of these from DB Electrical...no problems on my 500 inch BB with 12.5 to 1, or my 408 SB with 12.2 to 1....work flawless

On mine now & picked it up at AutoZone. It spins MUCH faster than the original starter. I think I had to make one very small modification for clearance to the block that took me 30min. Love it.
