"Paints" the target?

Yes, they pop up from cover just high enough for the dome to "see" over the top and it takes a "picture" of the entire battlefield 360*, it then gets simul cast to everyone in the battlegroup. The attack choppers can then select targets and priorities while sharing this info with everyone else so no overlap occurs. This takes seconds. The Cap gives the attack command and the entire flight pops up over from cover and hoses down everything in sight with rockets and Hellfire missiles and 30 mike mike. hence,,,...Attack Recon. Day or night, good or bad weather. The blades are composite and they are very quiet. They never see us coming. These are the "Longbow" equipped versions that share all of this and have "Blue Force Tracker" abilities so everyone knows where everyone else is at all times. And where the enemy is too. it's a very bad day when your out of your mud hut with your AK-47 slung over your shoulder at dawn and your dick in your hand while pissing in the sand, only to look up and there's suddenly 24 Apache Longbow Attack gunships flying at you when a second ago the sky was clear. Talk about pucker factor and shriveling **** up.
