How Come We Never Hear That The North Pole Ice Is Melting Off Siberia?

It is the magnetic pole not the position of rotational axis relative to sun.
 
You guys make me laugh. I actually think that some of you believe global warming is "fake news".......yeah right, and the idea that the Earth is round & not flat is "fake news" too. I am a scientist. I deal in facts. What you choose to do with that information is up to you to figure out.

1. A magnetic North shift affects which way a compass points, not the weather. The world is not coming to an end because of it.
2. Honestly, it doesn't really matter if the Earth is getting warmer due to pollution or if it just happens naturally. Either way it's bad for a lot of people.....and the Earth IS getting warmer. If you think that since the Earth is warming up "naturally" then that's OK, you're wrong. Hot for Any Reason = Bad
3. Al Gore is an idiot
4. Methane is a big deal. Much bigger deal than CO2. These gases eventually will kill our great, great, great, great grandchildren and who cares about them, right?
 
I recently read an AP news article about the "climate change" issue. In about the last paragraph they stated that the conclusion of "scientists" that the glaciers are melting is based on their study of about 560 glaciers. Then they mentioned that there over 5600 glaciers on the planet. Maybe not a big enough sample? Also saw a documentary about glacier melting a couple of years ago that did mention that although the north polar ice cap is decreasing in size, the Antarctic cap is increasing significantly. Also when I was in college in the '70's, the "scientists" were predicting we were entering a new "ice age". But at least AL Gore (inventor of the internet) is still making his money off this scam.

Honestly, a 10% sample size is pretty large....it's a statistics thing. Well, the ANTARCTIC is where this mega-huge iceberg seems like it's on the edge of breaking off (in the news now), so it looks like the South Pole is screwed too. Yep, I believe the idea that we're heading into another ice age is still agreed upon by most scientists.....so, what did you think it was going to happen "next week"? That kind of stuff takes a little bit longer....just a little.

Oh yeah, and Al Gore is STILL and idiot
 
We know for a fact that the earth's climate has drastically changed as recently as 10000 years ago. There also is no scientific explanation for the beginning or end of the ice ages. Climate change has happened and will happen, the idea that we should damage our economy and change our lives over it is insane. It is a religion for Democrats ,and anyone who doesn't drink their Koolaid is a non believer who needs purged.

I fully agree that "climate change" is real, as you say, otherwise I would be under many hundreds (maybe thousands) of feet of ice. Climate change has clearly become a "religion". I still question the analytics, comparing data from instruments inn the 1870's to today's equipment and how many observation locations are the same and used in the analysis. What makes up the data set is very questionable.

I have read lots of articles about the new ice age. Some explain what is happening now with the warming of ocean currents and the receeding of ice caps. Some of it makes since and some doesn't.
Most do agree if its going to happen it will happen and there is nothing that man can do that will stop it.
Myself I am waiting for the equator to freeze over and so we can get busy trying to find was of shipping goods north and south of solid masses of ice.

Life as an adventer why ruin it?

Hmmm......nope, Al Gore is an idiot (as I've already mentioned twice). So are you saying that you believe this "conspiracy theory" that the author of this article is trying to hype? Scientist are in on some conspiracy or cover up? So, Delta air lines is spraying heavy metals on the USA?
