Hi all,

So I found out that my lower control arm was bent where the ball joint attaches so I am looking for replacements with sway bar attachments. I found a set for a 68 charger but the sway bar tabs look to be in a different spot. They are in the center of my control arm and more towarda the end on the 68 version. I bought them without realizing this so my question is can I use those on my 72 roadrunner with my current sway bar or will I have to buy a different one? Thanks for all yalls help.

The sway bar changed in 70', so I'd say you will not be able to use 69 and older lower arms if trying to use the stock sway bar.

There are several cars being parted out on this site (parting out section) and I believe I saw somebody selling a set of blasted/painted control arms a couple weeks ago on here too.

Well pooh. Could I use a 68 -70 sway bar setup?

You need a 70 and up sway bar/control arm setup. Your K member wont accept a 69 and older sway bar.

Again this is all in reference to the stock equipment.

The lower arms are interchangeable, but the sway bar tabs will be wrong.

Cut the sway bar mounting tabs off both the new and old arms with a cut off wheel. Weld your old tab to the early arm, done.

I was actually thinking about this yesterday and was wondering if this was possible. I think I will go this route!

Thanks!
