WTB looking for 1970 road runner horn ring contact insulator

hi,I am in need for plastic insulator that is not full of cracks.its the flat plastic insulator that goes over round flat copper horn ring contact on bottom side of steering wheel.hope I didn't confuse with my desciption.thanks

Uhhh.... I confuse easily. Do you have a picture? There's a really good chance I have what you need.

thanks for the help with the picture.i tried plasti cote spraying the copper area were the plastic insulator would go. doesn't seem to work like it should.somehow my insulator is missing and ive had car for 35 years and never removed the insulator from steering wheel.thanks again

They dry rot and fall out most just use some thin rubber gasket material and make their own

You get one with a new standard steering wheel. So, somebody makes them. The trick is finding out who.

you would think with probably thousands of steering wheels that are old someone would sell an insulator
