Congrats !! A testament to your hard work and skill, which this clearly demonstrates. Oh... nice car, too.

Thanks guys. Got home at 3:30 this morning. We're gonna see if we can wring out a low 9 and get as close to 150mph as possible with this combo. After this year, it's going back to street only duty.

The tech guy ask me what it runs. I told him we were here to run some 10.90's and we were. Could only muster an 11.18 on motor as the converter is way too tight for this deal. We turned on the bottle for this pass, lol.

That bitch runs!! That 11.0 60ft looks like she was spinning to boot.

Ignition data from the MSD says it's the converter. Will only go 3100rpm and we're hitting the spray at 3400rpm so it's leaving on motor right before the Nitrous hits. Converter was set to go 3800 behind my 572. This 535 doesn't have the low end grunt but has way more top end.

How much Spray and what kit?
It's an old NOS Cheater kit. Started out as an advertised 175 shot that probably dribbled 125fwhp in there. I replaced the 4an line with a 6an and drilled the nozzles to a 34N and a 28F. Most people say the solenoids are only good for 250hp, so who really knows. We trapped 127 on motor last night and 144 on the bottle so Wallace calculator shows that to be 300fwhp difference.

So you took the spray bars out of the plate and plumbed them somehow into your intake or is it a nozzle kit? I can't believe you got it to work right either way after seeing where it looks like it's plumbed. Awesome!

It's a nozzle kit plumbed underneath the manifold. I welded up an aluminum pan under the manifold to keep hot oil off the tubes. It's worked quite well over the years.

Man that's badass but pain in the *** changing jets i imagine
It's a fixed orfice style nozzle. It can't be jetted. It'd be a money maker on the street in stock trim. No one expects a restored style, all steel street car to go mid nines.
