Over the weekend hooked everything up and lights were working. Installed first one and tested. Now not working. Uninstalled it and now no lights. Switched to a new bulb and still nothing. I have original primary wire that hooks into the main but have newer lead wires.

Guess I'm going to get a brand new set but CI is out of stock but they seem to be the cheapest. Anyone know of a company that sells them for $199 like CI.

Thanks in advance,
Roger

Thanks Justin. I assembled the primary to the 2 lead wires without installing them into the lens assembly. They worked fine & they blinked. When I inserted the 1st one into the lens assembly nothing worked. So I unplugged it and tried the other one just loose & nothing. I disassembled the 1st one from the lens assembly exactly as I had tested and now nothing worked. I brass wire brushed the terminals thinking it was a bad connecting but no dice. Will give it another go once I get my car back from the shop.

Sounds like a ground problem at the housing area where it attaches to the hood...

It grounds on the tabs on the hood....You have to remove the housing bracket and clean up the tab....

I had those on my first (new) Road Runner in '69 and they didn't work. Took it back to the dealer and they claimed it needed a heavy duty flasher. They replaced the flasher and it worked ever since.

Was a ground issue as 2 owners ago everything under the hood got painted over with everything in place. I'm learning a LOT from you guys here. Thanks for all of your help!
