Can you re-install headliners after a roll cage is in the car ? Working on a 63 Fury hard top that has a cage. Just wondering if it is hard or impossible ? The front and rear glass is installed already. Just checking if anyone has done it.

Not sure about the glass being in already but if you left enough room to snake the material over the bar, then yes you can. Generally, the cage just makes it harder to do.

Recently did my headliner, and I can tell you it is quite a challenge without any obstructions! Back glass was in, (Hard but doable ) and windshield was out (thankful of that) Contact cement on perimeter edges. Lots of pulling... and Profanity. You might want to get some assistance from Jack Daniels! Let us know how it goes!

Good Idea with the clamps to hold the sides. Yeah,, with the glass in I will just have to take my time. It will be awhile. Just getting my ducks lined up. Ordered the wheel tubs yesterday (Old race car) gotta get them in first. Then the headliner, rugs, door panels etc.Always something to do.

YUP ....you gotta knock em down 1 piece at a time, and keep the fight alive! FYI.. A Good tutorial on headliner installs on Resto Ricks website. P.S. Have some of your most Talented car buddies over to help with that. You won't be sorry!

Yes. I did a 69 Dart with a 25.1C cage. Now windows in a that time. Getting it in place and bows clipped in was the tedious part.

I did mine in my '67 Coronet with a 10-point cage and it wasn't horrible. Just go slow and pay attention to the dot pattern in the headliner and use it to make sure you are keeping things even side to side. As long as you do that you shouldn't wind up with any large wrinkles and should be able to use a heat gun on low to work out any imperfections.
