Need to raise the front of the window. It's probably 1" too low. Where can I adjust it?

Well, with the instructions in hand, tonite i spent about an hour futzing with the window. Loosened every mounting point and really cannot make a difference.
Front of window is too low, and too far back. Rear is too high. If i limit how high the rear goes with the stop, then the front is a mile away from the primary seal.

There seems to be some slop in the forward track where the glass slides in the track. Hard to describe and figure out. If i remove the rear limit stop, and pull the front up and forward, it's closer but still not where it needs to be, and then of course the back is way too high.

Stumped.

Looks like your parallel to weather strip seal adjustment is out of alignment with the front track adjustment. The two screws in the slots on the rear of the door just below the big square opening is for parallel glass adjustment, the bolt on the bottom of the doors front track is for the secondary weather strip seal adjustment, and raises up the glass in the front. The stops should be the last thing you adjust once you have the window parallel in the channels and with the weather strips.
Did you double check the rollers to make sure they are not worn, flat spotted, broken or missing, as that will cause window alignment problems, and may not let you get the window adjusted properly.

Thank you for responding. I agree, the parallel is off. The two rear bolts are completely bottomed out and will not allow the rear to go any lower.
Question on the front, bottom of door bolt- I assumed that was just a bolt to loosen so things could move, but are you saying it will push the glass upward ?
Both rollers look great, smooth and clean.

From what I remember when i did my 73 and what's in the service manual, the front bolt is for adjustment fore and aft, front to back, so if you move it back and forth, it should move the front of the glass up and down. Also, you mentioned that your rear parallel adjustment is all the way down, I don't believe that is where it should be, but each car is different. You might try adjusting that at the same time as the front bottom track bolt. My parallel adjustment is about 1/8 inch up from the bottom. Also make sure that your top stops are loose so you don't but up against those while trying to adjust the glass.

I have the stops completely out of the way so i don't even have to worry about them. I've got everything loose, i can tug and lift it to a slightly better position, and tighten things up but it won't stay. It's like there is slop in the mechanism. What's strange is the fact that when everything is loose, i cannot easily take it beyond where it needs to go. You'd think i could move it too far in every direction.

Having everything loose and trying to adjust is counterproductive and wont get you where you need to go! I would suggest following the procedure in the 71 Plymouth service manual page 6-23(download from link above), as there are certain adjustments that need to be done when the glass is in specific positions versus all the way up or down and some things need to be tight while others are loose for adjustment. If that doesn't work, I would pull the entire mechanism and inspect for play or broken or worn parts.

Thats what i've tried. 1st step was to set the parallel. Loosening the two rear adjusters doesn't seem to allow me to do much. I've tried it in the same spot it's been in for 30 years, tired it all the way at the bottom, tried it all the way to the top. Only goes from bad to worse. Clearly, i don't know WTF i'm doing. I'll maybe try to make a video showing my struggle. Thanks for your time, i know there's only so much you can do over the internet.
